Tying the Knot in Style: Eloping at the Cumberland County Center

Updated: Dec 12, 2024

Outdoor intimate ceremony at the courthouse followed by pictures in the heart of Downtown Fayetteville.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Carissa and Kyle! Their wedding day was made even more special with the heartfelt presence of their son, adding an extra layer of joy and significance to the occasion.

The celebration began by the historic courthouse. Pictured below is a touching first look between the son and the bride, followed by the bride and groom.

The ceremony took place at the detention center in Fayetteville. Upon waiting in the lobby, for a mere 15 minutes, there were 3 different parties there to get married!! I couldn’t believe it!

Soulful Family Moments

Another adorable detail of the day

was the bride and groom

matching sneakers with their son!

This thoughtful choice not only added a charming touch to their courthouse wedding but also seamlessly incorporated their son even more on their special day.

The clerk was very kind and allowed them to have the ceremony outside. Afterward, we wandered around downtown, capturing photos to commemorate the beautiful occasion.
